Seven Card Stud Poker Games
Overview:For those beginning to play poker, Seven-Card Stud Poker is an easy poker game to learn. Nevertheless, for more veteran players, 7-card stud is still a challenging game to play. The Deal:In Seven-Card Stud the players are each dealt two face-down cards and one face-up card. The First Betting Round:The betting is opened by the player holding the lowest card (the lowest up-card). The players, each in turn have the option to call, raise or fold their hand. The Betting Rounds:There are three rounds of cards dealt face-up and one final round in which a card is dealt face-down. A betting round follows the dealing of each card. In the second and all subsequent rounds the betting is opened by the player with the best hand. The Showdown:Those players that still remain in the hand after the betting rounds have finished show their hands. The winning hand will win the pot. As with most poker games the suits of the cards are not used to determine the winning hand. If two or more played have hands of equal rank they will split the pot equally. Common rules:Back to Top |
